Dylan Hunt joined Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency in January 2020 having previously worked in both the public and private construction and infrastructure sectors.
His role in the Waka Kotahi – Regulatory Safer Commercial Transport group was initially focused on delivering the Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme.
Dylan has been the Senior Manager of Safer Commercial Transport since July 2021. He provides strategic and change leadership to the Safer Commercial Transport teams to help improve safety and reduce the risk of harm, by ensuring commercial transport operators are complying with their obligations, and that class 2-5 drivers using their license for transport operators are fit and proper.
