Simeon Brown is the Member of Parliament for Pakuranga, serving the electorate since the 2017 election.
Simeon serves as National’s spokesperson for Transport, the Public Service, and Auckland. As part of his role as National’s spokesperson for Transport, he is a member of the Transport and Infrastructure Select Committee. Simeon’s previous roles include being the spokesperson for Tertiary Education, Youth, Police, Corrections and the Serious Fraud Office.
Simeon represents the Pakuranga Electorate and lives there with his wife Rebecca and their two daughters, Anna and Grace, and are expecting another child in June.
Prior to entering politics, Simeon completed Law and Commerce Degrees at the University of Auckland and worked in Commercial Finance at the Bank of New Zealand, as well as serving as an elected Local Board member at Auckland Council.
