Transporting New Zealand’s North Island Seminar is on in Napier on October 4-5 at the East Pier Hotel and promises to be both a fun and informative event for the road transport sector.
The Seminar begins on Friday afternoon with our AGM followed by networking drinks.
Saturday starts at 8.30am with a welcome by regional presidents, then an address by the MP for Napier Katie Nimon.
There will be several sector group discussions and key industry presentations from groups including NZTA Waka Kotahi and CVST, ACC and NZI.
We have two special guest speakers. One is economist Cam Bagrie with his usual no-nonsense take on the coming economy. The keynote speaker is super athlete, entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Lisa Tamati. As a professional ultra endurance athlete with 25 years’ experience running the toughest endurance events in the world, Lisa has some amazing stories to tell, and tips to help us all beat the odds.
Saturday night finishes with the awarding of five Industry Awards and another chance to catch up during the Awards dinner.
Attendance is free for Transporting New Zealand members and partners, and $230 for non-members. The full schedule and registration details are here.
