Convoys of trucks will start delivering containers with Christmas cargo to Auckland from Whangarei from tomorrow morning. Almost 1200 containers have been unloaded at Northport because of the delays at the Ports of Auckland. To get them to their destination, there will be to 12 trucks an hour – that’s one every five minutes – leaving Northport from 6am until midnight for the next week.
